Cookware made of cast iron has been used for ages. Many cooks absolutely love cooking with them and it’s a great choice for many recipes.
- Good conductivity
- Good heat retention
- Best for Deep Frying
- Last forever
- Very heavy
- Need special care: Don’t wash, just heat to high heat after cooking and scrape off the residue. Occasionally heat with salt in it then wipe clean and rub with oil.
- If not cared for properly cast iron pots and pans rust.
