By Global Master Chef Karl Guggenmos
Last week we discussed why nuts and seeds can help keep our brains healthy.
Today, in part 2 of this 6 part series, we look at another food that can also have a positive impact on our brains….FISH.
More specifically, Salmon, Sardines and Herring.
Salmon has a good amount of Omega 3 fatty acids known to improve brain function, among other health benefits.
Salmon is in abundant supply, very popular, tasty and suitable for many cooking methods and part of a variety of dishes.
Other Omega 3 abundant fishes include sardines and herring.
If possible, try to plan for 2 to 3 servings of 4 ounce portions per week.
